Overview

At New Beginnings Church, we believe in the power of serving others as a tangible expression of God’s love. Our Community Outreach programs are designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in our local community and beyond. We are committed to making a positive impact by reaching out to the vulnerable, the underserved, and anyone in need of hope and support.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We strive to reflect Christ’s compassion and love through practical acts of service, building relationships, and offering hope to those who need it most. By working together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and in our own faith journey.

Programs

  • Food Pantry

    Our food pantry provides essential groceries to families and individuals facing food insecurity. We believe that no one in our community should go hungry, and we are here to offer a helping hand during difficult times. Volunteers help with organizing donations, packing food boxes, and distributing them to those in need.

  • Clothing Drives

    Through our seasonal clothing drives, we collect and distribute clothing to those in need, especially during the colder months. Whether it’s winter coats, school uniforms, or professional attire for job seekers, our clothing drives ensure that everyone in our community has access to the basic necessities.

  • Homeless Outreach

    We partner with local shelters and organizations to provide support to those experiencing homelessness. Our outreach efforts include providing meals, hygiene kits, and blankets, as well as offering prayer and encouragement. We also work to connect individuals with resources and services that can help them find stability.

  • Back-to-School Programs

    Every year, we host a back-to-school event where we provide backpacks, school supplies, and other essentials to children in need. Our goal is to ensure that every child starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed. This program also includes opportunities for tutoring and mentorship throughout the school year.

  • Holiday Outreach

    During the holiday season, we organize special events and outreach efforts to bring joy and hope to families in need. This includes Thanksgiving meal distributions, Christmas gift drives, and holiday parties where families can come together and celebrate.

  • Community Health Fairs

    We host community health fairs that offer free health screenings, wellness information, and resources on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. These events are open to everyone and are designed to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in our community.
